Privacy Notice

This notice describes how Pulaski County Released Inmates handles information when someone browses the site, uses a search tool, or sends a message. It explains what may be collected, the reasons that data is used, which outside services may receive it, and the choices available to visitors. By continuing to use the site, you accept the practices stated here.

Information You Choose to Send

Terms Entered in Search Tools

When you type a name, place, or other term into a search tool, that request is sent to the third-party provider that operates the tool. Pulaski County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider processes the query under its own policies and technical practices.

Messages Sent to Us

If you send an email or submit a contact message, we retain the information needed to read the request and respond. We do not share the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law, a court order, or another valid legal demand.

Technical Data Collected During Visits

Routine server, analytics, and advertising tools may create technical records when a page loads. Those records can contain:

  • The Internet Protocol address used for the visit
  • The browser name and browser version
  • The device category and operating system
  • The pages viewed and time spent on them
  • The referring website, when one is provided
  • The date and time linked to the request

Cookies and Similar Storage

Cookies help us understand how visitors move through the site and how well pages function. You can block or remove cookies through browser controls. If cookies are disabled, some site or partner features may work differently or may not retain a preference.

Reasons We Use Collected Data

We limit use of the information to operating, maintaining, and understanding the site and its connected services. In practice, data may be used to:

  • Keep pages available, responsive, and reliable
  • Send a search request to the appropriate partner service
  • Measure which Pulaski County resource pages visitors find useful
  • Detect errors and correct technical problems
  • Display advertising that may reflect a visitor’s interests

Privacy on Linked Services

Pulaski County Released Inmates links to sheriff and jail resources, Missouri Department of Corrections pages, court and release-record portals, and third-party search tools. Once you follow an outside link, that service’s privacy notice and data practices apply. We do not control how an external site collects, keeps, or uses information.

Some advertising partners may use their own technology to recognize activity across different websites and select interest-based advertising. That processing occurs on the partner’s systems, not on systems operated by Pulaski County Released Inmates.

Parties That May Receive Data

We do not sell personal information. Limited information may be provided to services that perform a defined function or to an authority with a valid legal basis, including:

  • Search partners that receive and process submitted queries
  • Analytics providers that measure site use and performance
  • Advertising networks that deliver and evaluate advertisements
  • Law enforcement or government bodies acting under a valid legal order

Safeguards and Their Limits

We use standard administrative and technical practices intended to protect information against improper access, loss, or misuse. No website, network, transmission method, or internet-connected storage system can be promised as fully secure. We therefore cannot guarantee that a breach or unauthorized access will never occur.

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than eighteen. If a parent or guardian believes a minor sent personal data, please use the Get in Touch page to request review and deletion.

  • Provide a copy of personal data associated with you
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Delete personal data when a valid erasure request applies
  • Stop or limit certain forms of processing where an opt-out right exists
